Swell IT Studios is a small, independent studio based in Aventura, Florida. We design, build and support every app ourselves — no outsourcing, no shortcuts, just people who happen to be parents building the things their own children play with every day.
Like a lot of parents, we got tired of scrolling through app stores full of games packed with intrusive ads, pushy in-app purchases and content that had nothing to do with learning. So we decided to build something better ourselves.
Lio Play, our first and still most-loved app, was built to be the app we'd hand our own kids without hesitation — free, ad-conscious, genuinely educational, and fun enough that they'd ask for it themselves. That same standard now shapes everything we ship, from our learning suite to our coloring apps.
